In a kettle, stir and bring to a full rolling boil:
2 c sugar
1/2 c milk
1/4 c butter
3 T cocoa
As soon as it comes to a full boil, romove from heat and add, in order:
3 c rolled oats (not quick kind)
1 t vanilla
1/2 c peanut butter
Stir and scoop mounds onto a platter or cookie sheet lined with tin foil. They are best frozen.
